3 Secrets That Will Immediately Help Your Business Grow

Nate Fortner

According to the US Small Business Administration, there are 28.8 Million small businesses in the United States. Small businesses account for 99.7% of all businesses in the US with fewer than 500 employees. According to a recent study, 82% of businesses fail because a lack of cash flow.

2/3 of startups will not survive past 2 years.
1/2 of startups will not survive past 5 years.
1/3 of startups will not survive past 10 years.

A startup needs working capital to keep their business running when orders and payments for services by clients aren’t on time. Wells Fargo Small Business Index reports that $10,000.00 is the average amount of money a business needs to start.
We have beat the statistic that ½ of new startups will not survive past 5 years. How did we do it? I’m about to share with you our success secrets right now!

With all of the above stated, I started my company, WhosoeverPress.com in August 2012, and I had absolutely no money. We are now in July 2018, and we have been catapulted into success by following only 3 simple steps.

#1: Content Marketing
#2 List Building
#3 Follow Up

CONTENT MARKETING: Is the act of creating and distributing physical and/or digital material to raise awareness for your cause. You are not paying to advertise. You are paying for content to be created and distributed.

When we started our new product line, we created a 30 page catalog that showed our products, services and prices. We have printed and distributed thousands of these catalogs within just 3 years. At some point, you have to up your game and take more action. Between July and December 2018, we will print and distribute 100,000 catalogs around the surrounding states. This has been our #1 source for new business. If you would like to know more about Content Marketing, you can purchase a copy of “Success Requires Action” the book written by our owner Nate Fortner. The book is available from Amazon.com, Books-A-Million, Barnes and Noble and wherever books are sold.

LIST BUILDING: When you gain a new client, tell them that you are adding them to your monthly email list. You can explain to them that they will receive special offers and discount codes throughout the month. You can get a very nice email marketing platform from Benchmark Email Services.

*SPECIAL NOTE!!!* I have NEVER seen any videos anywhere on the internet that teaches what I’m about to share with you!

I’m always trying to figure out new ways to get my message in front on more people. In the past, I have even purchased email lists from companies online, only to get a list of old and outdated contacts. I started to realize that many businesses have and operate a Facebook page. No, I’m not telling you to purchase Facebook ads. There’s a better way!

Even if a business has hired a firm to operate their page, the company still places their contact information on the about page. This includes in many cases their mailing address, phone number, email, website and a contact name.

In the search tab at the top of your Facebook screen, you can type in things like, “Businesses near me,” Businesses in ‘Insert Your State’,” “Coffee Shops in ‘Insert Your State’.” Make sure when the results appear that you click on the option at the top of the screen for pages. You will then see hundreds of individual business pages. Once you click on a business, it will pull up their profile. Click on the “ABOUT” tab to the left of your screen. Here you will find all of their contact information.

I would suggest that you reach out to them and explain how you found their information, and that you would like to share with them how you can help them with their business.

FOLLOW UP: Follow up is key to any marketing campaign. As a business owner yourself, you will agree with me when I say, business owners are busy. They may have loved your email or package, but forgot to contact you. Follow up is the key to locking in a deal. Most Sales Reps never follow up with the client. Don’t let your marketing efforts fall through the cracks by not following up with a potential client.
